Pear Tree Farm – June Newsletter
June 2026 Newsletter from the Pear Tree Farm Project (Limpley Stoke)
The village is less than a mile west of the A36 between Bath and Southampton. There are a number of outlying settlements within the 2480 acres of the Parish at Midford, Clearbrook Farm, Pipehouse, part of Freshford, Friary, Iford and Newtown. The parish shares the Church of England benefice with the neighbouring parishes of Freshford and Limpley Stoke and we have our beautiful church, the Church of St John the Baptist. We have a fantastic Millennium Green space open to all, a village hall and a cricket club, all surrounded by glorious countryside with views towards Bath, Westbury and Frome. The Parish is served by two well known pubs, the Stag Inn and the Rose & Crown, and we also have a Post Office and village shop.
